Viral Hepatitis Nigeria is a non-profit organization, founded in May 2006 to be a support and an advocate for all people with Hepatitis in Nigeria.
MISSION STATEMENT
We are on a mission to greatly reduce the spread, incidences and complication of viral hepatitis by providing unbiased information, support, and advocacy to all Nigerians (Africans as well) communities affected by viral hepatitis (A,B & C) and its co infection (HIV/AIDS).
This we do in different Villages, Towns, and Cities across Nigeria, reaching the unreached through religious gathering (Churches, Mosques etc), government organizations, private organizations, village gathering. This we do in partnership and co-operation with government organization, other health establishment, NGOs and Community Based Development Organizations (CBDs).

ORGANISATION
Hepatitis Nigeria has a National Office in Abuja and branches around the country.
Branches are run primarily by volunteers drawn from the ranks of the membership base.
Our branches have a strong network through linkages with over 100 smaller local branches and support groups in Nigeria.
OUR WORK INCLUDES
- Informing, encouraging and supporting all people who have hepatitis and their families.
- Acting as an advocate for people with hepatitis, lobbying for better facilities, cheaper medication and better services.
- Promoting public awareness of hepatitis, its symptoms and risks.
