Viral Hepatitis Nigeria is a non-profit organization, funded in 2009 to be a support and an advocate for all people with hepatitis in Nigeria.
MISSION STATEMENT
We are on a mission to greatly reduce the spread, incidences and complication of viral hepatitis by providing unbiased information, support, and advocacy to all Nigerians (Africans as well) communities affected by viral hepatitis (A,B & C) and its co infection (HIV/AIDS).

What is Hepatitis
Hepatitis means inflammation (itis) of the liver (hepar), an irritation or swelling of the liver cells. There are many causes of hepatitis which include viral infections A, B and C that most of us have heard of, but also the disease also includes auto-immune hepatitis, fatty liver hepatitis, alcoholic hepatitis and toxin induced hepatitis.
